Meet Yolanda Kenniston Alvarez
My name is Yolanda Kenniston Alvarez, and I am a candidate for Vista City Council, District 1. I have lived in Vista for more than 40 years, and as a passionate community advocate, I bring years of hands-on experience working with children, families, seniors, and individuals with special needs. I worked with Head Start to uplift families, advocated for immigrant justice, and championed accessibility and support for individuals with disabilities. I’ve also worked closely with senior citizens, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs addressed. I’m running for District 1 because I believe every resident deserves a fair, inclusive future, and I will work tirelessly to make that vision a reality.
